Welcome!

Welcome to St. Peter’s! We understand that being new isn’t easy. Thank you for taking the first step. We hope you feel welcomed among us and we look forward to getting to know you. We invite you to join us for a service this Sunday. Take a few minutes to stop by the Visitor’s Desk before or after the service to say hi and learn more about our church. Our prayer is that you and your family will experience an approach to worship that is God-centered, creative, and powerful.

Children in first grade and older are invited to participate in corporate worship with their family in the pews, however, children in first grade and younger are invited to come to Children’s Chapel for a portion of the service where they will have an opportunity to hear the Gospel, pray, sing, and participate in a format that is enriching and engaging. Children will gather in the Narthex once the Sequence Hymn is sung and will return to their pews during The Peace.

Becoming a Member of St. Peter’s

You are invited to come to a Cathedral Conversation to meet our Dean, Fr. Marcus Kaiser, as he discusses topics going on in the life of the church. You are also invited to come to a Newcomer’s dinner to the meet the clergy and staff. Additionally, Liturgy 101 is a short class offered quarterly throughout the year to introduce the basics of Anglican worship. Once you’ve decided you want to go through the membership process, you must complete the catechumenal process, which studies three key components of a Jesus-shaped life. In The Anglican Catechism, we learn about our common faith. In Prayer Book 101, we learn about our common worship. In Spiritual Gifts Discovery, we learn about the common service to which we are all called.

Discover your Spiritual gifts

Do you know what your spiritual gifts are? God has equipped each one of us with spiritual gifts which He intends for us to use to build up the Church and to be His witnesses in the world. Spiritual Gifts Discovery is a morning workshop designed to help you discern your spiritual gifts, so you can put them to use in the service of the Lord and His people.

  1. Prior to participating, there are a few things to do.

  2. Complete the Spiritual Gifts Inventory with the link below.

  3. Ask a mentor, friend, and family member to complete the Spiritual Gifts Reference form linked below.

  4. Download the Spiritual Gifts Workbook linked below and begin working through the Checklist on page 1.

Please email Katie Munroe at Katie@StPetersFL.com for more information about Spiritual Gifts Discovery.

Even if there isn’t an upcoming Spiritual Gifts Discovery Class, you can always utilize these resources to learn about and/or reassess your spiritual gifts! Upon completion of the Spiritual Gifts Inventory and having a few trusted friends or family members complete the Reference form, consider meeting with a Cathedral staff member or priest to discuss how you might utilize your gifts!
