Lent is a sacred season of forty days in which the Church prepares for Easter. It is a time of reflection as we journey with Christ toward the cross and the hope of the Resurrection. We invite you to join us for worship, devotion, and fellowship throughout this holy season. Below are our Lenten services and special events as we walk this path of faith together.
Worship Services
Confession
Ash Wednesday, Wednesday in Holy Week, Maundy Thursday, & Good Friday | 4-6 pm
Wednesdays in Lent | 4-5 pm
The Reconciliation of Penitents, often called confession, is a healing prayer found in the 2019 Book of Common Prayer. You’re welcome to let a priest know if you plan to come, but no sign-ups are required; feel free to show up.
Stations of the Cross
Fridays in Lent Starting 27 February | 6–6:30pm
The twelve “steps” of the cross are undertaken with an identical pattern at each station. Most simply, there is a scripture reading, a time of silent and/or spoken reflection, and a concluding prayer. A guide from Brothers in Faith will facilitate, and a handout will lead you through the stations.
