Adult Sunday School

The Gospel of Matthew aims to answer key questions about Jesus’ identity, purposes, mission and teaching by setting them within the framework of the Old Testament narrative.  This class will explore Matthew’s theological and literary art with the aim of presenting a picture of the figure of Jesus and his vision for discipleship.

Our membership process at St. Peter's includes 3 classes that take about one year to complete. These are

Introducing Anglicanism: Thursdays 6:30 - 8:00 pm (September 28 - November 30)

Grounded in the Gospel:  Sundays 6:30 - 8:00 pm (September 24 - November 12)

Network: October 14 9am - Noon

The Charles Simeon Lay School of Theology

The Charles Simeon Lay School of Theology offers seminary-quality classes that we specifically design for the benefit of laypersons who wish to deepen their faith but who do not wish to pursue a degree. The aim of these classes is to build the faith of laypersons and to enable them to be more effective witnesses in the world.  The Institute sponsors these classes and offers them at no cost to participants.  The following classes will be offered for the Spring 2018 semester on January 13, February 10, and March 10 from 9:30am to 12:00pm. This spring's courses are

  • The Thirty-Nine Articles: What Are They and Why Should We Use Them?
  • Heaven, Hell, and Life In Between
  • The Ethos of the Cosmos: The Bible, Creation, and Science
