Youth Ministry at St. Peter’s
We want students to grow as Anglican Christians in the Church. Our Youth Ministry's highest priority is that the students are Christians who know and are known by the Trinity. Our second priority is that our students learn and grow to become leaders in the church. Along with all of this we want our youth to HAVE FUN! Youth ministry isn’t reserved for only the youth! It is also a way that we, as a church, can pour into the next generation so that the youth can be empowered to make their faith their own and grow into leaders for the next generation
Our Youth Ministry creates many different opportunities for our students to become involved in the life of St. Peter’s. Come join us for acolyting, singing, Sunday School, and youth fellowship.
Serving in Worship
Weekly and Special Services
All middle and high school students are invited to participate in the Acolyte program. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our Youth to be a part of and serve in the worship services. We also encourage our Youth to serve as readers for the New Testament readings each Sunday. Students can also serve in worship through the Youth Choir.
Youth Group
Sunday Nights, Jan 18 - May 3, 6pm
This semester, we will delve into Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. We always start the evening with food and fun and then break off into groups for middle school and high school, where they are taught and nourished.
Youth Studio Cafe
Between Services, 10:30–11:00am | Parish Hall
The Youth Studio Café gives youth the opportunity to lead talks and serve the parish while developing skills in hospitality, planning, technology, and administration. They engage the parish by sharing relevant Christian topics alongside music, coffee, and snacks.
