This class will be focused on one question: Who is Jesus according to Matthew?  The distinctive structure of this gospel will be explored as well as the way in which Matthew relates Jesus to the Old Testament.  For Matthew, Jesus represents the fulfillment of God’s covenant promises to his people Israel and to his creation.

How do we, as Christians and Americans, thoughtfully and prayerfully engage in politics and culture?  Rather than adding to the rhetoric or ever-growing gap between left and right, this class will investigate the great issues of faith and politics without losing sight of the supremacy of Scripture and the Cross.

Through the Holy Spirit, Christ remains present and active in his Church.  The sacraments are signs of this presence.  This class will explore Anglican sacramental theology and will also focus on how we meet Christ in the sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation, Unction, Matrimony, Ordination, Reconciliation and the Eucharist), which are his gifts to us.

Moms' manna is for all moms at every stage of the journey that is motherhood. All moms who want to grow in their relationship with Christ and other moms through prayer, Scripture, and sharing are welcome to participate. We will laugh, cry, and perhaps share a little wine and chocolate.
