This year, we have set up two Advent Trees in the back of the Nave. They highlight a few of the ministries we partner with in our community, near and far, to “come alongside” and provide encouragement, acts of service, and resources. They are decorated with “ornaments” describing specific ways you can help these ministries. There are opportunities to give with your money or to give with your time.
During Advent, we are reminded what it means to wait and to think of others. Please take the time to learn more about the ministries we have partnered with this year and how you can be a part of them. You can take an ornament off one of the trees, follow the specific instructions on the back, and return the requested items to the Cathedral anytime between now and December 20. You can bring your items when you come to church on Sunday morning or anytime the Cathedral is open during the week. All items should be brought to Room 101B for safe keeping.
