To Be A Christian: The Anglican Catechism

What do Anglican believe?  What does it mean to be a Christian?  How should prayer and worship shape our lives? This class provides participants with an introduction to the official catechism of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA).  The Catechism consists of 368 questions and answers and is divided into four sections: (1) The Gospel (2) Believing in Christ (the Apostles’ Creed) (3) Belonging to Christ (The Lord’s Prayer) (4) Becoming Like Christ (The Ten Commandments). This class provides a basic introduction to the Christian faith and is recommended to those exploring the faith, new to the faith, or experienced Christians.  This class is required for all adults seeking to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.  Resource book: To Be A Christian: An Anglican Catechism.
