VBS Update

We opened volunteer registration March 1st. After tallying our volunteers, we determined the number of children we could safely serve. At this time VBS is full (just over 80 children), but we do have a waiting list.

While this new procedure will make for a smaller VBS in terms of numbers, we believe it may be a larger VBS in terms of impact as we prioritize creating meaningful relationships for the purpose of sharing the gospel.

The good news is there’s still time to volunteer! Every Tribe Leader we get means we can serve ten more children. Being a tribe leader is not as scary as it sounds. You are given a script for your 15 minutes of teaching time and the rest of the morning you guide children from station to station as they encounter Jesus’s teachings by the Sea of Galilee. E mail Amy or Erica to find out more details.

Camp Araminta

July 15-20

Camp Araminta is one very active week with ongoing, exciting programs and activities that keep our kids busy from the crack of dawn until the evening. We are building Christian Community through fellowship, living the Christian ideal from day to day, and learning to hold each other accountable. We also encourage discipleship by teaching youth how to filter the culture around us and discern what we listen to, say, and do (in music, media, and games). We are a ministry dedicated to supporting our youth as well as our fellow Anglicans.
