Holy Saturday | Easter Vigil

The Great Vigil of Easter is celebrated on Easter Eve at 8:30pm. This is a service unlike any other in the Church's year. The first part is quiet, dark, and reflective - a continuation of the somber tone of Good Friday. However, midway through the servie, the organ rumbles, bells ring (bring your own to ring!) and the light bursts forth, heralding the miraculous Resurection of our Lord!

But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where He lay.
