How did the Book of Common Prayer come to be? How does it related to all the prayer books which have gone before it? Why was the first prayer books written? What are its contents? Why has the Book of Common Prayer been described as “the Bible arranged for worship”? Why pray with fixed written prayer? How can the prayer book be used with children? How can the prayer book be used to shape the life of those who follow Christ? These and other question will be addressed by this class.
