"Nowhere else will we find perfect love, but in Jesus. Nowhere else will we find new and abundant life, but in Jesus." Sermon by the Rev'd Canon Matthew Wilkins | Third Sunday of Easter - May 5, 2019 - 11:15am service
"It never ceases to amaze me how the Holy Spirit shows up when we're working shoulder to shoulder to help others. He always seems to minister to us as we minister to the world. Instead of staying in the Church with the doors locked, we're called to share His redeeming grace with the world."
"Our faith is not just played out in our mind but in our whole bodies and our whole lives. This is why we believe that physical space, time, routines and habits, celebration, nature, music, hospitality, mission, prayer, our interactions with other people - they matter.
"Paul's answer to this question is really radical. It is nothing less than sharing in Jesus' death to sin and in His resurrection to new life. That is, Jesus' resurrection isn't just about eternal life that happens when you die. It's about the eternal life that starts right now in each one of us."
