June 1 – July 27 | 6:15-7:30pm
Led by Fr. Michael Petty

The Bible is a large and complex book and can appear to be formidable. This class is an invitation to understand Scripture as an integrated narrative which is fundamentally about God’s work in Jesus Christ. The class begins by exploring some of the major themes of the Old Testament and the important events in the history of Israel. The second half of the class explores the ministry of Jesus in the Gospels and how the Gospel writers see him as bringing the promises of the Old Testament to fulfillment. This class can be taken as part of St. Peter’s membership process but is also open to any interested person. To register for this class, contact Ginny Yearty at ginny@StPetersFL.com.
