The Psalms are divinely inspired prayers of God’s people and so it is no surprise that they have a central place in the worship of the Church. They provide us with comfort, inspiration, and a pattern for our prayers. Yet in the routine of corporate and private worship it is all too easy to forget that fundamentally the Psalms are all about Jesus Christ. Through a close study of select Psalms and discussion of broader interpretive questions, this class will explore how the Psalms show us Jesus and invite us to follow him.
